Hope for Children Project
Clean India Project

On 5th December 2000, CEPRD entered a new era of creating Environmental Awareness amongst the School Children (the future leaders of India). On this day a long term agreement between the organization ‘Development Alternatives’ and CEPRD was inked. The program is named as ‘Clean India Program’. On the occasion a two days orientation workshop was organized for the teachers and school children. On the occasion the national coordinator of Development Alternative Col. Katju was present.


The features of the program include environmental action & awareness activities such as workshops and demonstrations of water and air sample testing, science exhibitions, different competitions, anti cracker campaigns, eco-friendly natural colours for Holi, eco-friendly idol preparation, awareness rallies, water recharging, tree plantation, medicinal garden, solid waste management, bird watching etc.

Rural Environment

In the year 2000 CEPRD in collaboration with NABAARD, started a Training cum Demonstration Project for production of manure from rural and agricultural waste in 16 villages of Indore Block. The project included construction of three units per village demonstrating 3 techniques of composting viz. Indore Method, Wormi -composting and Nadep Technique. The program was a great success and many villagers took interest in the program.    

FE-CEASD Project
  • In January 2006 we got another project from Development Alternatives, Delhi named FE-CEASD (Foundation Ensemble-Community Environment Action for Sustainable Development).
  • The major action work in this project was Solid Waste Management, Rain Water Harvesting and Mini Waste Paper Recycling Unit.
  • In January 2007, construction of a wormi-compost unit in DIET campus, Indore was started for its residential campus the commissioner of Indore Shri Ashok Das inaugurated the unit.

  • A Rain Water and over-flown unused tap water recharging system was created in a school in Indore which was inaugurated by the Corporator of the area Shri Nandkishore Pahadiya on 24th March 2007. The project was funded under FE-CEASD project .


    Under FE-CEASD Project a Mini Paper Recycling Unit was installed in Vidya Sagar School, Indore. This unit was inaugurated by renowned social worker Shri Ramratan Agrawal & Shri Rameshwar Patel Ex-minister, M.P. on 1st March 2008.
