At the outset, CEPRD organized an all India seminar on ‘Environment Preservation and Pollution Control’ was held in the year 1996 in which famous environmentalist and supreme court lawyer Shri M.C. Mehta deliberated key note address. The seminar was also graced by famous ground worker and Mag Psy Awardee Shri Rajendra Singh.

CEPRD launched ‘Green Indore’ project by planting 300 Neem trees on NH3 near Holkar College and Maintained the trees for 8 years till the saplings achieved substantial growth. Hon. Shree Digvijay Singh, Chief Minister of M.P. was the chief guest for the function.
Public Hearing on “Water Resources in Malwa and its Environment” was held on 28th March, 1999, in joint collaboration with People’s Commission on Environment and Development. Dr. Karan Singh, the then Chairman of PCED and Hon’ble Shri Digvijay Singh, CM of Madhya Pradesh were present at this public hearing. Attention of policy makers, industrialists and government representatives was drawn towards the issue of ‘Water Resources of Malwa – the challenge and future’.
On 6th June,2004, one day National Workshop of ‘Inter-Linking Rivers’ was held. The Hon’ble Secretary of the National Water Development Agency Dr. R.K. Prasad was the chief guest and principal speaker on this occasion. Many dignitaries and ministers attended the workshop.
A seminar on ‘Environmental Laws and Sustainable Development’ in collaboration with the International Law Association was organized on 29th December 2001. A galaxy of Judges viz. Hon. Justice B.N. Kirpal, the Chief Justice of India, Justice Bhavani Singh the CJ M.P. High Court, Justice Y.K.Sabharwal Supreme Court Judge, Justice V.K. Jain, Judge Delhi High Court were present on the occasion. An exhibition was also organized on this event
CEPRD organized a 'Photographic competition on environmental issues'. In the light of that an exhibition of the photographs along with the prize distribution ceremony was organized on 22.07.06 Justice R.C. Lahoti was the chief guest for the function
On 5th and 6th June 2005 a 2 days workshop was organized in association with the Indore Development Authority, Indore Municipal Corporation and the M.P. Pollution Control Board and Public Health Engineering Department on ‘Water Resources and Environmental Development of Indore City‘.
On 20.11.06 CEPRD organized a lecture of famous environmentalist Shri Sunderlal Bahuguna on the topic, ‘Our Environment Status and Solutions’ The lecture attracted attention of many intellectuals of the town.  
The CEPRD in collaboration with the Indore Municipal Corporation and Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) organized a workshop cum seminar on the topic of ‘Indore Urban Problems and Sustainable Development’ on 5th November 2000. The then Central Minister for Urban Development Hon. Shri Jagmohan was the chief guest for the function.
CEPRD, the Soybean Processors Association and the District Panchayat jointly organized a workshop on ‘Development and Conservation of Water Resources’. The workshop was mainly for the farmers of the Indore District. Shri Rajendra Singh was the chief guest for the function
On 4th Feb. 2006 a symposium organised on “Environment & Public Participation”. The Senior Justice of Supreme Court Shri K.G. Balkrishnan, Chief Justice of High Court, M.P. Shri A.K. Patnayak, Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Shri Vijendra Jain, Senior Advocate of Mumbai High Court Shri Vikram Trivedi and chief editor of Nai-Duniya Shri Abhay Chajlani were present on the occasion.
To create awareness about the trees and their protection the environmental day celebrations were carried out by worshipping and hugging the trees on 5th June 2006 with a gathering of people from all walks of life.
On 7th Feb, 2007 the director of CSE, Delhi Padmashri Sunita Narayan delivered her speech among the students of schools & colleges on
‘Role of Young Generation in Environment Conservation’.
On 14th April 2007 a one day seminar on topic, 'Water Requirement, Availability and Supply for Malwa Region’ was held under the honorable guest ship of Dr. Sompal the Vice Chairman M.P. Planning Commission the one day deliberation was fruit full in reviewing the water problems of Malwa Region.  
On 12th of January 2008 an inter school model competition for environmental science was organized. More than 30 schools participated in the exhibition cum competition. Dr. S.P. Parashar, Director IIM, Indore was the chief guest for the function. 

On 2nd of March 2008 a lecture on topic, ‘Matropolitan Planning in M.P. and Indore’ was organized. The lecture was delivered by Shri M.N. Buch (IAS) an hardcore environmentalist and thinker. Dr. Bahgirath Prasad, VC DAVV presided over the function.

On 20th April 2008, a symposium organised on subject “Indo-American Civilian Nuclear Agreement”. The main speakers were Dr. Vedpratap Vaidik, renowned senior journalist and Shri R.K. Bhargava, Ex-President , Heavy Water Board (DAE).
In collaboration with Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai a research study on “Sardar Sarovar Bandh Pariyojana” was released on 20th August 2008. The chief guest of the program was Smt. Shabana Azmi, the actress. The other guests were Justice Shri Virendradatta Gyani, Shri Sharadchandra Behar, Ex-Chief Secretary, M.P., Shri Bharat Chaparwal, Ex-Vice Chancellor, DAVV, Medha Patkar, Social Worker, Shri Parshuraman, Director, TISS, Mumbai and Smt Anjali Paranjpay, an archaeologist.
In collaboration with a group of students of Maharaja Shivajirao School – 1956 Batch, CEPRD organised a program to release a book “Organic Food” (Nature’s Bounty) on 18th Oct. 2008. The chief guest and speaker was Shri Patanjali, I.R.S., Income Tax Commissioner (TDS), M.P. & C.G. The program was presided by   Dr. Vandana Pandey, Principal, Maharaja Shivajirao H.S. School, Indore.   
On 19 Jan. 2009 a symposium organised on the topic “Prospects of Nuclear Power Generation”. The main speaker was Shri N. Nagaich, Chief Engineer, Corporate Planning & Communications, NPCIL.
Special Guest were Shri A.P. Rai, Additional Chief Engineer (civil), MPPGCL, Khandwa, Shri S.B. Dubey Executive Director, M.P. Trading Company, Jabalpur and Shri Dilip Godbole Executive Director (Testing), M.P. Power Transmission Company, Jabalpur.
The Program was presided by   Shri R.K. Bhargava, Ex-President, Heavy Water Board (DAE).
