Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar

CEPRD instituted ‘Environment Friend Prize’ in the memory of its veteran managing trustee and environmental crusader Late Shri S.K. Mishra (IPS). The prize is planned to be given to a single person working in the field of environmental development and preservation


The first prize was awarded to Dr. Rakesh Trivedi for his contribution in this field. The award was conferred by the Vice Chairman of Planning Commission and visionary economist Dr. M.S. Ahluwalia on 10.10.07
Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar-2008

“Paryavan Mitra Puraskar” instituted in the memory of the founder Managing Secretary,  Late Shri Sudhir Mishra, awarded to “Barli Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan” for the year 2008 on 18th March 2009 for its great efforts in the field of Solar Energy.


The chief guest for the award function was Smt. Tara Bhattacharya and special guest was Shri Shiv Singh Mehta.

CEPRD enjoys an image of a pressure group and has been bold enough to raise issues of environmental degradation. Taking note of this, on 27th April 2000, CEPRD was conferred with ‘Red and White Bravery Award’ for its brave steps on the issue of the environmental preservations and awareness.

On 28th Jan. 2009, Sadbhavana Pratishthan has awarded CEPRD by “Sevaratna Puraskar” 2008-2009 for its good work in the field of environment. The Central Labour Minister Shri Oscar Fernandes honoured CEPRD by the award.

CEPRD  was nominated in 2008 for Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar 2007 for its work done in the field of environment conservation and development.
